FOOD + WINE EVENTS AT THE FARM AT CAPE KIDNAPPERS CHEF JOSH EMETT and FELTON ROAD WINEMAKER BLAIR WALTER June 2nd, 2012

Two great friends return to The Farm at Cape Kidnappers for one very special weekend full of food and wine. World renowned chef Josh Emett from Masterchef will be cooking and Felton Road’s own winemaker Blair Walter will be matching wines to each course at a special dinner on Saturday evening. Their debut together in 2010 was a sell-out. We are delighted to have Josh + Blair together again for what will be a “not to be missed” event!
On Friday afternoon there is a special wine tasting session planned with Blair, in the Farm’s own wine cellar, to look at vineyard expression and also to get his thoughts on "what makes a winemaker tick.” Josh will present a cooking demonstration on Saturday morning – you’ll be sure to pick up some great hints on how to wow guests when entertaining in your own home. There will also of course be time for enjoying the spa, golf, or simply relaxing around the lodge.
Tariff for the weekend is as follows:
Saturday 2nd June at the special event rate of NZ$800.00 + 15% GST per person per night based on double or twin occupancy*.
The tariff includes accommodation, pre-dinner drinks, degustation dinner by Josh Emett with matched wines from Felton Road, full breakfast and complimentary mini bar including domestic beers (excludes liquor and wine) and use of lodge facilities including your choice of either a 50 minute massage or a round of golf per person.
With the special activities planned on Friday afternoon with Blair and Saturday morning with Josh we would encourage guests to take advantage of this opportunity to extend their reservation and enjoy the whole weekend at Cape Kidnappers.
